Per-Time pricing for driveway and sidewalks: All snowfalls must accumulate at least 1 inch before service begins. During major storms, we plow every 4-6 inches keeping your driveway open and accessible at all times. Follow-ups after city plows will be charged with this option (by request). *During major storms multiple visits may be required and will be billed individually. Snow removal service contract is valid November 1st - March 31st. If a snow event happens before November 1st or after March 31st, JLS Yard Maintenance , will automatically clean the snow unless you notify us or cancel service. If snow removal is required before November 1st or after March 31st you will be billed your “per-time rate” for service.

Ice melt applications can be done at the time of plowing visits or on call to prevent icy conditions or after an ice storm or freezing rain.

ROOF RAKING PER-TIME
We will remove snow from the first eight feet of the roofline or clear the surface from gutter to peak, where access is available on all areas of your roof and eves. Our crews will also clean up the snow that falls onto your driveway, walks, or steps from the raking process. We do not use any metal tools, all of our rakes and shovels will be plastic to prevent any damage to your shingles and or roof structure.

PAYMENT OPTION:

An invoice will be submitted after each completed service. Payments are due upon receipt of invoices. All payments received 30 days after date of invoice will be subject to a service charge. This Agreement shall be binding upon the successors of Contractor, and the signature of the Client. In the event of legal action to collect a past due account, Client agrees to pay all collection costs including late charges of 18% per month for payments made after 30 days of invoice rendered. Client agrees to pay all attorney’s fees, and court costs. Contractor shall receive and Client agrees to pay the amounts stated herein for services and materials. All lawn services are automatically renewed each year. Client may cancel agreement upon a 30 day written notice to Contractor. If it shall become necessary for Contractor or Client to give notice of any kind, the same shall be written and served by sending such a notice by regular mail or email to the last known address of Contractor or Client.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

The snow removal service contract is valid from November 1st - March 31st. Each snowfall must accumulate at least 1” of snow before plow service is rendered unless the client contracts for services less than 1”. If a snow event happens before November 1st or after March 31st, JLS Yard Maintenance will automatically clean the snow unless you notify us or cancel service. If snow removal is required before November 1st or after March 31st you will be billed your “per-time rate” for service. JLS will stake all driveways prior to the first snowfall at no extra charge and mark any necessary obstacles to avoid unnecessary damage.

The winter unlimited package is priced for 20 snow removal visits. In a typical winter producing more than 20 visits, JLS will provide 2 additional visits and NO charge (22 plowings), per your seasonal rate. If you choose this option, due to extremely snowy seasons, if your seasonal visit count exceeds 22 visits, JLS will invoice for the 23rd visit and any thereafter.

When heavy snowstorms are expected, JLS Yard Maintenance will plow every 4”-6” to keep driveways open and accessible. During heavy storms, we may skip the sidewalks to allow time to get to each driveway promptly. But will clean all sidewalks and driveways edge to edge on the final visit, when snow clearing is required more than once, in a snow event. When a snow event produces 4” or more, each visit is counted individually.

During heavy snowstorms, that may produce more than 4 inches, in less than 8 hrs per snow event. The per-time rate/or count for each visit will be billed for each 4” increment. (For example @ $68 per time rate, a 6-inch snowstorm is produced in less than 8 hours, 1 full visit (clean edge to edge) by the JLS team = $136.00 charge/count as 2 visits).

During snowfalls 4” or less, JLS Yard Maintenance will have driveways and/or sidewalks cleared within eight hours of the end of the snowstorm. During heavy snowfalls over 4”, JLS Yard Maintenance reserves the right for additional time “as needed” to clear driveways due to driving conditions, visibility, and personal safety.

Servicing snow drift. Service needed from high winds, and extreme winter conditions are not included in the per-time or package service(s). Needed services for snow drift or non-producing new snow events are charged on a bid or per hourly rate and will be rendered by request only.

JLS Yard Maintenance is not responsible for surface scrapes, scratches, rust stains, or chips to driveways, including paver and stamped concrete driveways, due to normal plowing wear and tear. All driveways are subject to on-site inspection. Sod damage will be repaired in the spring when necessary due to “physical” plow damage. Dead grass due to ice, heavy snow, or ice melt products will NOT be considered JLS Yard Maintenance's responsibility to repair.

All prepaid packages are non-refundable, nor can they be credited to your account in the event of an atypical winter season.

A 30-day written notice is required to cancel service.

The client agrees to all terms, conditions, and exclusions of this agreement herein upon signing this agreement.

***ALL SERVICES ARE AUTOMATICALLY RENEWED EACH YEAR. UNLESS CANCELED BY THE CLIENT WITH A WRITTEN NOTICE.
